chocolate fudge

Ingredients:
butter for greasing the pan
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 cups bittersweet chocolate chips
3 tbsp unsalted butter

Method:
1. button the bottom and sides of an 8 x 8 inch baking pan. line the pan with a sheet of parchment paper.
2. in a medium glass bowl, combine the condensed milk , cinnamon and vanilla. stir in the chocolate and butter. put the bowl on a saucepan of barely simmering water and mix until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. ( mixture will be thick). using a spatula, scrape the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
3. put in fridge for at least 2 hours until firm
4. run a warm knife around the edge of the pan to loosen the fudge, remove the fudge onto the cutting board and peel off the parchment paper and cut into desired pieces.

store refrigerated in an airtight container or freeze.
